Le Joint Francais is part of the specialist chemicals division of TOTAL and manufactures a range of
adhesives and sealants for the automotive and insulating glass industries. These are distributed in the UK and Ireland by LJF (UK) Ltd.
AUTOMOTIVE DIVISION: A complete range of adhesives and sealants for car, bus and truck assembly, and the manufacture of automotive trim and components. The company specialises
in polyurethane and butyl sealants, and solvent-borne, water-borne, hot melt and PUR adhesives.
WINDSCREEN DIVISION: Single and two part direct glazing systems under the TOTALSEAL brand name for the structural bonding and sealing of fixed
glass in cars, buses and trucks. These are available in a range of grades and cure times, along with a complete selection of cleaners, primers and
application equipment.
INSULATING GLASS DIVISION: The company
manufactures polyurethane, polysulphide and butyl sealants for the manufacture of double glazed units.
The TOTALSEAL IG-sealant range includes 3524 PIB spacer adhesive and primary seal; 3185 and 3189/2 polyurethane and 2001 polysulphide
two-part edge sealants; and 4000 TPS (thermoplastic spacer).
