Henkel Loctite Adhesives Ltd has long been renowned throughout British industry for its comprehensive ranges of anaerobic, cyanoacrylate
and acrylic adhesives. Its products have been used for decades to lock and seal threads, retain cylindrical assemblies, seal and strengthen flanges, permanantly join small and large metal structures, and instantly bond all plastics and metals. To
facilitate this work, a range of semi and fully-automatic equipment has been produced. Recent activities of the company have included the
development of its ‘traditional’ products and the creation of specialist adhesives for medical devices and the electronics industry. A range of hand
and machinery cleaners and industrial lubricants now complement the adhesives range, together with a range of release agents. In addition a full line

SEALING OUT THE ELEMENTS WITH HODGSON *************************************** BUTYL RUBBER STRIP SEALANTS: *HP Series Industrial Strip Sealants - Used extensively in metal building construction, ductwork fabrication, general construction, caravan and automotive manufacture, industrial roofing, tunnelling, joining plastic membranes. Products - *HP 300, *HP400, *HP500, *HP600 SEALING AND FLASHING TAPES:- *Polyband - used to comply with Document L to improve airtightness and reduce the build up of condensation in industrial buildings. *Foilband - Non bituminous, butyl rubber based flashing tape used for all types of flashing applications where a durable seal is required including conservatories. The modern alternative to lead. *Fleeceband - butyl strip sealant with dry fleece backing. Used wherever a dry surface is required on a strip sealants such as specialist bathroom construction and sound attenuation in the automotive industry. GLAZING STRIPS AND TAPES:- Used for glazing all types of glass and double glazed units into timber frames to comply with BS6375 weathertightness and BS7950 Security. FIRE RESISTANT SEALANTS:- *Firestrip 60 Intumescent Glazing Strip - Tested to EN1634 and EN1364 for doors and screens for 60 minutes. *Firestrip 30 Intumescent Glazing Strip Tested in accordance with BS476, EN1634, EN1364 for doors and screens for 30 minutes. BWF Certifire No 297 Provides 30 minutes fire resistance when used with many non-insulating and insulating glasses into timber doors and screens. *Firetape Ceramic - ceramic fibre tape suitable for glazing timber or steel doors and screens with a wide range of glass types. *Intuglaze - intumescent acrylic. Tested to BS476 Part 22 for 30 minutes into fire doors. Ideal for glazing fan lights, and circular or shaped glass. *Intufire Acrylic - intumescent acrylic. Tested to BS476: Part 22 for 4 hours.
